Walking with Whanau to Wellness
We are seeking a Residential Support Worker for our three sites in Napier, with rostered shifts.
Our sites operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are fully supported.
We have two full-time positions available.

Residential Support Workers play a vital role in supporting the Residential Team to deliver supported living within our residential sites: Kahukura, Ahuriri, and Rangimarie, based in Napier.
We operate a wahine (female) only site, a community confident site, and an increased supported site for Whaiora.
Our sites provide support based on Hua Oranga and Te Whare Tapa Wha models, all peer-led, fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing, growth, and empowerment.
You will assist the Residential Team Leaders in managing external and internal relationships, promoting partnerships aligned with a client-centered approach.
We're looking for the right person who is capable, competent, kind, empathetic, and confident to deliver exceptional support.
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Skills and experience working with whanau with lived experience
Health & Wellbeing Level 4 qualification or working towards it
A current, full, clean drivers' license
Understanding of cultural diversity and ability to work effectively with diverse communities
Commitment to strength-based and solution-focused support for whanau
Strong IT skills, including Recordbase, ECA, and Microsoft applications
Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and striving for equitable outcomes for whanau
Commitment to delivering services that respond to the needs and aspirations of Maori
Understanding of Te Whare Tapa Wha, Hua Oranga, Te Powhiri Poutama within a Peer-Led space
