The role
We are looking for a Support Worker to complete wake over shifts at one of our Residential Intellectual Disabilities Supported Accommodation Service in Woolston, Christchurch. This position will be located in our residential service walking alongside whanau that have an intellectual disability and/or drug and alcohol addictions. Whanau who reside here require support with life skills and help with integration back into the community.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and enjoys supporting whanau on their recovery journeys. This role involves working collaboratively with a professional and dynamic team to provide support to youth and adults with both mental health and intellectual disabilities. Therefore, we are looking for individuals who are energetic, passionate about working with people, and can calmly address challenging situations.
Shifts in this service are rostered on a fortnightly basis.
