Residential Property Assessor

An exciting and financially rewarding opportunity is now available for a capable, well organised person to join our residential home assessment team in our busy Branch.
With over 600,000 rental properties needing to comply with the Government’s new Healthy Homes Standards within the next four years, our services are in high demand.
We require an Assessor with either a trade background or having a very good understanding of residential construction. You must be a good communicator, have an eye for detail and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You must also be tech savvy as assessments and reports are completed on I-pads.
This is an independent contractor’s position. Invoices are paid weekly based on the number of assessments you complete.
What is the opportunity:
• Assessing the compliance of residential rental property’s:
o Insulation
o Heating
o Ventilation
o Draughts
o Drainage
• Assessments take between 1.5 – 2.5 hours to complete. Our contracted assessors on average are completing 17 – 22 assessments per week
You do you need to supply:
• A reliable vehicle
• A minimum amount of assessing equipment
o Ladder
o Overalls
o Torch
o Basic hand tools
o Drop sheet
o Lazer measurer and tape measure
