With your enthusiastic guidance, you will inspire the Reservations crew to excel in their roles and consistently deliver outstanding customer service.Title: Reservations Manager - Lake TekapoLocation: Peppers Bluewater Resort, State Highway 8, Lake Tekapo 7945, New ZealandSalary: $32 - $35 hourly rateContract: Permanent Full-TimeHours: 30-45 hours per weekMinimum Qualification or Experience: NZQF equivalent Diploma or at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar rolePrimary ResponsibilitiesTake the helm and guide the reservations' day-to-day operations with expertiseManage reservations made via phone, email, and online platforms, providing guests with accurate information on room availability, rates, and special offersFacilitate the on boarding process for new team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their rolesAllocate rooms based on guest preferences, availability and business demands, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable staySafely and securely handle payment transactions, verifying billing details for accuracyAssist in resolving guest complaints or issues related to reservations, billing, or room assignmentsSkills and ExperienceExperience as a Reservations or Front Office Team Leader, ready to flex your leadership skills and take the next step in your careerMasterful in the art of both written and spoken communicationProficiency in using reservation and property management systems is a plusThe knack for juggling multiple tasks, thriving under pressure, and quick thinking to address issues or guest concerns is a mustTeam player with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mileCapable of embracing a flexible rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysAt Accor, we welcome you as you are.
