Job DescriptionAutonomous Systems & Robots (ASR) Group is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to lead and conduct research in development of AI-driven robotics solution capable of autonomous decision-making and tasks execution.
He/she is expected to be independent and initiative-driven, demonstrating the capacity to discover innovative solutions to challenges.Roles & responsibilitiesResearch into novel human-centric framework for robotic task learning and optimization.Work with a team of scientists and engineers to develop and enhance different machine learning techniques/models to advance robot manipulation capabilities for industry manufacturing processes.Formulate scientific research directions and innovative proposals to secure competitive fundingUnderstand the latest trend in manufacturing domain (e.g., Industry 5.0) and provide innovative solutions to industry problems in this area.Job RequirementsPhD degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines with emphasis on optimization, machine learning and AI.Preferably 1 year experience in research of R&D projects.Deep understanding of robot manipulation and kinematics.Proficient programming/coding skills in developing optimization and machine learning algorithms.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, good team player with good communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent technical presentation and writing skills.Proactive team player and technically motivated to solve problems innovatively
