The Research team at ourChildren's Emergency Departmentare seeking a registered nurse currently looking to extend their scope of practice within the research nursing field.
Research Nurses use nursing judgement, knowledge, and skills to meet the needs of patients, and to provide clinical care as determined by the research design/ protocols. They apply broad technical knowledge and experience to undertake research assignments that may require proficiency in the specific clinical area.
This opportunity is fixed-term for two years, working part time (36 hours per week) Monday - Sunday.
We welcome applications from nurses who:
Are registered with the NZ nursing Council and hold a current APC
Bring a paediatric nursing background
Or experience with research/ clinical trials
Are well-versed using Microsoft Office software along with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
