The Role & Your Responsibilities

RMIT University is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic researcher in the area of intelligent autonomous systems, specifically with expertise in one or more of the following: Agent Programming, AI planning, Agent-oriented Software Engineering and Machine learning in Multi agent systems. The researcher will join a team working on the development of human/agent teams. The focus will be on humans and virtual agents collaboratively performing tasks, for example in search and rescue domains, or training environments. You will have strong technical expertise in one of the above mentioned topics and be able to adapt and learn new technologies. You will be expected to produce high quality publications collaboratively with other members of the team.

Skills & Experience Required

A PhD in Computer Science, with expertise in at least one of Agent Programming, AI Planning, Machine learning in Multiagent systems, and Agent Oriented Software Engineering. Essential to your success in this role is your knowledge and ability to research international trends and outcomes that make significant contributions to the advancement of Intelligent Agents. Furthermore, you will have previously established an extensive domestic research record.
