Cardiac Imaging Research Assistant PositionThis position starts on June 1, 2025.
The Research Assistant (RA), working under the supervision of the study Principal Investigator, provides assistance for cardiac imaging research studies, including echocardiography, magnetic resonance imaging, Positron Emission Tomography, and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography.
The RA will work in clinical areas of BWH and must possess strong organizational skills, professionalism, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
Training will be provided initially and throughout the project.The RA may be responsible for activities such as recruiting and evaluating potential participants for clinical trials, collecting, entering, and organizing patient data, scheduling study visits, submitting paperwork for subject payments, contacting patients for follow-up, maintaining imaging and research data, and assisting the PI with IRB submissions.Molecular imaging and investigational new drug therapy studies will also be included.
The RA may need to travel locally to Boston-area medical institutions including Boston University, Tufts Medical Center, and Massachusetts General Hospital.Key Responsibilities:The RA will coordinate a multicenter study (6+ sites) and may occasionally travel to these sites (
