Auckland City, AucklandWhat you will doIn this role you will assist the Repair Manager to coordinate the repair and purchasing of aircraft components through external vendors, and monitor vendor performance and turnaround times.What we needWe are looking for a person with a good knowledge of supply chain management procedures and processes.On a daily basis some of the duties you will be undertaking are:Monitoring external repairs byVerifying that vendor has received itemObtaining regular status updates from, and hastening vendors; notifying Component Control Manager (CCM) of any impact on due datesLiaising with vendors regarding overdue goodsMonitoring the fleet outlook inboxHighlighting risks and issues to Component Control Planner (Supply) CCP(S)Initiating repair and purchasing ordersProcessing additional finance requests from vendors for financial approval through CCP(S)Verifying vendor repair invoicesLiaising with Defence Logistics Engagement Office (DLEO) Washington for US based vendors as applicableProcessing warranty claims and purchasing reportsYou will bring a good level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and ideally SAP experience or an equivalent computerised maintenance management system.Who we areDefence Logistics Command (DLC) is a consolidated organisation that provides logistics excellence to sustain NZDF maritime, land and air operations.
