Full TimeMonday – SundayCalling all Telephone Superstars! The Telephone Services team is responsible for providing 24 hour support to Counties Manukau Health and handles over 1.5 million calls per year. Based at Middlemore Hospital and within a supportive, close knit team you need to understand the importance of being the first point of contact ensuring all inbound calls and requests are taken care of professionally and in a timely manner. You will need to bring exceptional interpersonal skills, high levels of empathy and a willingness to go that extra mile. This is a permanent full time position, which involves shifts from Monday – Sunday and you will be required to cover sick leave and annual leave as requested. The four rotating shifts consists of:• 7.30am to 3.30pm • 8am to 4pm • 9am to 5pm • 11am to 7pm Knowledge of a hospital environment and medical terminology would be a distinct advantage but not essential. You will need to be a motivated team player with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and excellent communication to all our inbound callers.
