We are looking for experienced Intensive Care nurses with current experience to join our team.
If you are motivated, enthusiastic and passionate about Intensive Care nursing then we have a vacancy for you.
Whangarei Hospital is a Level 2 ICU with an incorporated HDU. We have a flight retrieval service which is run from the ICU and a separate Patient at Risk team based in the unit.
We mainly care for adult ICU and HDU patients but also admit paediatric patients.
The successful applicants will be competent to manage complex ventilation and patients on CRRT. A post graduate qualification in ICU nursing is preferred.
Opportunity to join the flight retrieval service is also available to the appropriately skilled ICU nurse.

Individualised orientation programme which will include paediatric patients
Ongoing educational opportunities
Experience with a wide range of adult and paediatric ICU and HDU patients

The successful applicants will have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing a high level of nursing care.
