About you/about the role
Are you a Registered Nurse withrecent Mental Health nursing experiencelooking for a new, permanent opportunity with variety? We have two newly created registered nursing roles available as part of the safe staffing initiative. You will be part of the resource team working across Dunedin and Wakari Hospital inpatient units and the crisis team on a rostered basis, no two days will ever be the same.
If you like variety this could be the perfect fit for you! These roles will see you providing care for the full range of mental health disorders, including Youth, Mothers and Babies, Eating Disorders, Mental Health Older Persons, Forensic, Intellectual Disability and Emergency Psychiatric Services.
The roles will be busy and diverse and will require people with a mental health background with experience in the acute mental health sector.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who are dynamic, innovative and wish to join a service that is committed to high standards of practice and supports ongoing professional development.

Candidates must be New Zealand Registered Nurses, and hold a current APC as well as a scope of practice that enables you to work in Mental Health. You must also be eligible to live and work in New Zealand.
