The Ultimate Care Group Limited

Details of the offer

Being a Registered Nurse at Ultimate Care Group is a hugely rewarding and challenging role. Aged care is a privileged profession to be in. You will get to make a huge difference to the lives of our residents and their families. As part of a privately owned specialist aged care services provider, you will be fully supported with professional development and career growth.
Our RN's take responsibility for resident assessments, so we insist that our nurses have sound clinical assessment skills. We actively encourage our nurses to run shifts and be responsible for caregivers and staff. Our role is to help develop and grow your leadership and management skills.
As well as excellent verbal and written communication skills, and preferably previous experience in aged care, you must have:
A current practising certificate (APC)
A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN in New Zealand
Sound IT skills and the ability to write reports, care plans and other documentation
The ability to work alongside residents and their families and develop long term relationships
Sound assessment skills
Flexibility in your hours – shift work, including weekends, is required as we provide 24/7 care to our residents
It is fundamentally important that you have a passion to work with the elderly. Being a part of our nursing team is more than just a job. In our facilities we focus on a ‘resident first’ care approach. Our residents need your help in addition to your clinical care and support.
