Our Purpose

The Team
The Surgical Orthopaedic Unit (SOU) cares for patients undergoing arranged elective orthopaedic and plastic surgery.
We are looking for Registered Nurses with surgical/orthopaedic experience (preferred) or a passion for orthopaedics, plastics and rehabilitation. In return SOU offers you the opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge with interesting and challenging cases in a supportive team and an excellent work environment.
The Role
Your ability to work well under pressure within a multidisciplinary team alongside your excellent communication skills and flexibility to work rotating, rostered shifts is imperative to your success in these roles. Professional development is supported and you will have opportunities to attend training.
If you're a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse, with at least one year's post graduate medical and surgical experience and enjoy the challenge of working with a variety of clinical cases, we would love to hear from you.
