The Starship Blood & Cancer Centre is looking for registered nurses with recent acute nursing experience, excellent communication skills and an overriding a passion for delivering high quality patient care to children and young people with a diagnosis of cancer.
Starship Child Health is the leading provider of paediatric health care in Aotearoa and the South Pacific, delivering whanau centred care to infants, children, young people and their whanau in hospital and in the community.
This role providesa unique opportunity to join a team that provides a national service for bone marrow transplantation, is a Children's Oncology Group clinical trials center and the largest regional cancer service for children and young people in New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Nurses are an integral partof our clinical team and are fully supported and acknowledged through a number of professional opportunities that support professional growth, and acknowledge the nursing contribution within child health, these include;
A comprehensive and well-structured orientation programme
The opportunity to learn or further develop your paediatric oncology and bone marrow transplant skills
An opportunity to undertake post graduate papers in oncology nursing at the University of Auckland
