Registered Nurse - Sexual Health

Our Sexual Health Service has a permanent 0.4FTE Registered Nurse vacancy for an enthusiastic person looking to join a close knit team.
You will be interested in advancing your nursing practice specific to sexual health, reproductive and youth health. You will be interested in pursuing post graduate education and advancing your scope of practice to include prescribing.
This position will best suit someone with a good sense of humour, and a high level of resilience. You will have the confidence to discuss all options relating to pregnancy and contraception. You must be willing and able to actively participate in the after-hours sexual assault and treatment care roster.
You will have experience in assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of safe and appropriate patient centred nursing. As a self-motivated and professional Nurse you will have strong time management and organisational skills, and be adept at using computer systems.
You will be able to work independently, problem solve and use your initiative. Ideally, you will bring to this role previous experience working in sexual health and/or youth health. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to support education of colleagues.
