OR
•At least two years post registration experience with at least one year in Haemodialysis in an equivalent secondary care facility outside of New Zealand AND completion of the CAP training

•Have knowledge of the process of kidney disease and treatment options and an understanding of the implications of caring for patients with a chronic illness

The Renal Service has permanent/part time positions available and is currently looking for registered nurses with the above essential criteria to join our team in this busy and ever expanding area.
The successful applicant will initially work in the haemodialysis units at two locations in the hospital and when assessed as competent, will also be rostered to the satellite unit in Horowhenua Health Centre as required. The applicant will also have the opportunity to work within the Peritoneal Dialysis unit as the service develops into the future.
You will have achieved or be working towards PDRP Level 3.
Previous experience will be an advantage, but full training will be provided to the suitable applicant.
Working shifts will be rostered Monday to Saturday as follows:
0700 – 1530
1200 – 2030
1330 – 2200
The unit provides a 24 hour on call service and all staff will be included once assessed as competent.
