About the role
The Nelson Paediatric Service has a small, vibrant, inpatient unit catering for children from 0-16 years requiring both acute and elective medical and surgical services. The unit is co-located alongside our paediatric outpatient department.
We have an opening for acasualstaff member who has the flexibility to work across all shifts, sometimes at short notice, covering staff leave.
Please note that this position is not suitable for Work Visa applicants as there are no guaranteed minimum hours of work for casual employees
About you
You will be a NZ registered nurse with a current APC and recent experience in an acute general paediatric setting. You will also be a team player, who enjoys keeping up to date with clinical practice, with excellent organisational and time management skills and a commitment to quality.
