We are looking for a dynamic, organised and innovative Registered Nurse with experience across both the medical and surgical specialties to join the Outpatients Department at North Shore Hospital.
Recent anaesthetic and/or orthopaedic/surgical knowledge would be advantageous, as the successful candidate would be working predominantly in the ESC outpatient department.
The Outpatient department delivers care to medical and surgical specialty patients and also supports visiting specialties. The department sees more around 100,000 presentations per year through its clinic rooms, with a focus on patient centred care.
It is a complex diverse environment that requires a broad clinical surgical and medical knowledge.
Excellent clinical and communication skills are essential, along with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to the changes that occur throughout the day. The main focus of your work will be supporting and assisting across a range of specialist clinics.
