The Meade Clinical Centre (MCC) is comprised of adiverse range of specialty outpatient clinics, and services up to 900 patientsper day. There is potential for flexibility across a variety of clinics, andopportunities to build nursing knowledge & experience in a number of areas– whether it be facilitating an allocated clinic or working with senior nursesand specialists supporting minor procedures. Meade Clinical Centre – Outpatient Nursing team isseeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse who is committed toquality and patient focused care, with a strong commitment to patienteducation. This position is based in although youmust have a willingness to work in other clinics where required. This is toalign with a requirement for a flexible and responsive workforce.
Key requirements for the role are:A minimum of 3 year’s post registration experience within a New Zealand hospital/acute care setting;
Sound nursing knowledge & experience in (casting skills would be advantageous although training will be given to the right person);
Someone who places “People at Heart” with commitment to delivering whanau focused service;
Has excellent time management and effective communication;
Has a caring and supportive attitude;
Demonstrates prioritisation and problem solving skills;
Have an interest in seeking professional development opportunities.
