72 hours per fortnight (0.9FTE)
We have an excellent opportunity for anexperienced Registered Nurse to join the Operating Theatre team at the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board. Our operating theatres cover most specialties but excludes cardiac and neurology.
We run a busy 24/7 hour acute service, therefore our Nurses in the Operating Theatres work rostered and rotating shifts.
You’ll need to be passionate about what you do, be energetic, motivated, have a 'can do' professional attitude and enjoy working as part of a busy team. A minimum of 3 years theatre experience is essential for this role.
The wider Perioperative Team works amongst our 7 theatre, 15 bed PACU and Day Surgery Unit. We cover all secondary public hospital specialties and perform on average 10,000 procedures per annum.
