Mo te turanga | About the role The Medical Assessment Unit is closely linked to the Emergency Department and other front-line services, so variety is a key element in this busy but rewarding role. Streamline the assessment and admission of non-critically ill medical patients Accommodate and care for patients for up to 24 – 36 hours, Tend to patients during what can be a vulnerable and scary experience.
