Our General & Vascular Surgery Ward could be the place for you. They are a 26 bed facility working in a cutting-edge, fast paced and progressive environment. They offer advanced surgical interventions that are research based as well as complex wound care with Clinical Nurse Specialist support.
You will be working with an amazing team of clinical professionals who always strive to do their best for our patients and each other.
The successful Surgical Nurse should be team focused, with a strong goal to provide high levels of patient care. You will need to have an understanding and respect of health and safety in the workplace.
We're looking for individuals who display:
A current practising certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, with evidence of meeting continuing competence requirements.
Level 2 or 3 portfolio as assessed via an approved Nursing Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP)
Step 2-6 (as per the NZNO/DHBs Nursing & Midwifery Multi Employer Collective Agreement)
A commitment to team work with an ability to participate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
