Waitemata District Health Board (WDHB) is a major provider of healthcare services in the Northern and Western Districts of Auckland. WDHB is an organisation growing in many areas and has experienced considerable growth at both its major hospital sites, North Shore and Waitakere Hospitals.
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic In-patient Discharge Coordinator team. If you are a nurse who is motivated to deliver compassionate and patient centred care and enjoy working autonomously within a team, this is the role for you. You will be well supported by a highly competent and capable team offering on-going development and education programmes
You will have NZ Nursing Registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate and be practising at an RN 3 or RN 4 level. You will have an innovative and creative approach to nursing and be an excellent communicator. A background in advanced assessment skills and previous work in an acute setting would be advantageous.
