Registered Nurse - Dialysis Service

2 x Permanent positions available between 0.8–1.0 FTE (32–40 hours a week)Monday to Friday between 08:00 – 21:30 hrsHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is dedicated to serving all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe are looking for 2 enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join the Dialysis Service.
The service operates Monday to Saturday, 7:30 am - 9:30 pm, with rostered morning and afternoon shifts.
After a period of training, there is an expectation that you will be part of the on-call roster which operates out of hours.About the ServiceThe Dialysis Service provides care to patients across Canterbury and the West Coast through the acute inpatient unit and home-based haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programme.About youYou will be responsible for working across the service providing acute and chronic haemodialysis, peritoneal, and home haemodialysis training, and ongoing support to the patients on dialysis at home.You will have a passion for Dialysis.
Experience isn't essential as we'll provide training, support, and professional development opportunities.Experience in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.You will be a confident practitioner with exceptional patient assessment skills.Enthusiastic, motivated, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage a wide variety of people, is paramount in this role.Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
