Critical Care Outreach ServicePart time position (0.9 FTE)North Shore HospitalThe Critical Care Team is looking for a highly committed, motivated and hardworking Registered Nurse to come and join our team.
The Critical Care Outreach Service (CCOS) is a nurse-led service that supports ward nurses and doctors who are caring for acutely ill in-patients across both North Shore and Waitakere Hospital sites within the Waitemata District Health Board. As a Registered Nurse, you will be working with nurses, medical staff and the multi-disciplinary team to support best care for patients across the DHB.
To undertake this role, you would need to have a minimum of 4 years of experience within an acute care setting i.e. ED/ICU/CCU and preferably hold either a RN level 3 or 4 portfolio. You will be expected to practice to a high clinical standard with emphasis on evidence-based and quality management of patient care. You must have strong communication skills to effectively share clinical knowledge with others, teaching and guiding staff effectively. The ability to act in a positive manner, able to influence without conflict and have a strong team work reputation are some of the positive attributes we are looking for.
