Permanent, full time (40 hours p/w)
The Nursing Resource Unit is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate and prepare rosters for designated ward rosters throughout the hospital. You would bring to this role great organizational skills and the ability to deliver safe, effective, staff wellness centered rosters.
This position provides you with the opportunity to work in partnership and collaboration with CNMs and positively influence nursing workload management through support and enhancement of a centralized rostering system.
This role involves:
Lead and coordinate the ongoing development and preparation of rosters
Collaborate with CN/MMs and DNMs on rostering measures
Provides appropriate reports of roster information
Coaching and developing staff to use the rostering preparation capability in Trendcare
Rostering with best practice in rostering and MECA guidelines

To be successful in this position you will need
Current APC
Competent portfolio with minimum of two years nursing experience
Ability to manage time and resources to achieve results
Strong teamwork skills
Experience in collaborative and influencing relationships
Have excellent problem solving ability.
Understanding of Trendcare system

Highly desirable
Experience in preparation of rosters to strict timeframes
