About the team
Ward 11 Rehabilitation/Transition Mental Health unit is a 16 bed inpatient unit working with those on their mental health recovery journey.
About you
Bring your exceptional communications skills, non-judgemental manner and positive attitude and join the team at Ward 11, an Inpatient Mental Health Rehabilitation/Sub-acute setting based at Wakari Hospital, Dunedin, for adults who have a long term mental illness and co-existing problems.
You'll bring to this role experience working within an adult mental health environment, and having additional clinical skills in the areas of physical health and addictions could be a significant advantage.
To be considered you must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current annual practicing certificate with a scope that allows you to practice in mental health, and holding a full clean driver's licence.
All employees of the Southern District Health Board working with in Mental Health and Addiction Services are expected to demonstrate a commitment to 'The Seven Real Skills' (Te Pou Workforce Development, see www.tepou.co.nz/letsgetreal ).

About the Southern DHB
