RobLawMax has exclusively partnered with one of the leaders in Refrigeration Designing and Manufacturing companies in Wellington that is on the search for a Refrigeration Technician for their team.
Being the only local company that have their own cool-store construction team, they are very busy and have many projects on-the-go that requires a Technician to help service and maintain equipment out on the clients sites. They service and maintain equipment such as Blast freezers, seawater conditioners, heating or cooling, process and air-conditioned areas etc.
To be successful in the role, you will need :
Trade qualification
Previous Installation, service, repair and maintenance of domestic and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration units
Good mechanical aptitude
Good diagnostic & fault-finding skills
Roles and responsibilities:
Following plans and specifications to install, commission, service and maintain equipment
Fault-finding, diagnosing, servicing and repairing of equipment
Installing, repairing or replacing parts
Installing and connecting piping to refrigeration systems
Checking that parts are installed according to relevant standards and regulations
Knowledge and skills required:
Trade qualification with suitable licenses
Previous Installation, service, repair and maintenance of domestic and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration units
Good mechanical aptitude
Good diagnostic & fault-finding skills
Ability to effectively operate autonomously and unsupervised
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organisational capabilities teamed with a strong customer service ethos
