The Refrigerated Container Care Team is responsible for the power connection and monitoring of refrigerated containers, which are delivered to the port on heavy transport trucks and are then exported out on Container Ships. The Refrigerated Container Care Team is a great team to join to kick-start your career in port operations.
Were currently seeking casual employees to assist with the power connection of refrigerated containers due to peak season demands. This is a physical role, which is predominately outdoor-based involving climbing ladders and multiple levels within container towers, to connect and disconnect the power to the containers.
Candidates will need to be flexible to work variable hours, including a mix of day, afternoon and midnight shifts, across a 7 day week.

A minimum of a class 1 drivers licence
Comfort of working on ladders and at heights
Successful candidates will have an excellent work ethic, a good level of fitness, good communication skills and the ability to follow computer based instructions and processes in a timely and safe manner. The ability to work within a fast-paced team is essential to this role.
