Reporting to the Manager Recruitment, you will work with a bunch of experienced and dedicated professionals who value teamwork, communication and having a good laugh. This role is of fixed term nature ending in November due to internal secondment, however there is a possibility that this will extend. 
What will you do: As a Recruitment Business Partner, you will manage your own portfolio, partnering with leaders across diverse groups utilising your flexible approach and openness to new ideas and solutions to drive great business outcomes. You will empower your hiring managers by helping them understand the recruitment lifecycle, supporting them through the process and ensuring the decisions they make are the best ones that align with our policies.
We get involved in taking job briefs, advert writing, running assessment centres, arranging and conducting interviews and the delivery of training courses as well as providing advice across all areas of HR. We can guarantee a varied workload where you will have the autonomy and freedom to determine what your day looks like.

Location - This position is primarily based at Te Hononga, Christchurch City Council Civic Offices - 53 Hereford Street
Salary - The salary band for this position goes from $78,464 to $87,182 per annum based on a 40 hour working week. Starting salaries will be based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader organisation for the same or similar roles. We will use MyInterview, a video screening tool, to determine who to take to in person interviews for this role. You will be asked a series of screening questions of which you answer via a video which opportunities to retake. This allows us to see more candidates and give you another opportunity to showcase why you are the best person for this role.
