Reception Intern / Night WardenWe are looking for a smiley, fun people to join our awesome, friendly family-like team to start on the as soon as possible to help on Reception and work with overseas tourists of all nationalities.On our Reception Intern Programme you will get a variety of work experience, a change to practice your English, learn skills in running a tourist business and meet other travellers as part of an enthusiastic team, while also helping to preserve a Heritage building.You will be checking guests in and out of our award winning hostel (Lonely Planet's top pick for Christchurch) along with making reservations, answering emails and helping guests find their way around Christchurch. This may be during the day or evening/nights.We would ideally love for you to stay with us for at least 2 months (bonuses are paid for longer stays!).This is a position where you live on-site and your paid normal work (at $17.70 ph plus 8% holiday pay) of a few hours per day covers your accommodation costs. There may also be extra paid reception work, especially over the busy holiday period. You will also receive benefits including free unlimited WiFi, laundry money, espresso coffee or chocolate and staff bikes.This is a fantastic opportunity for you to further practice your English and gain experience in the Tourist Industry.
