As a Radio Frequency Engineer you will be responsible for the following:Work within a team of telecommunication engineers and independently perform Radio Frequency Network Optimisation Activities related to network delivery and roll out
Provide expertise in Radio Planning and Optimisation of an LTE and UMTS network
Provide expertise in Root Sequence index and PCI planning
Analyse KPIs whilst investigating and providing recommendations for improvement of network quality problems
Provide analysis on neighbour relations and implementation of corrections
Provide expertise on load balancing among carriers
Independently handle customer complaints related to network rollout
Prepare reports and acceptance documents from customers as per service level agreements

Please note that there may be some limited travel around New Zealand in order to fulfil the requirements for this role.What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have the following:Have a Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering
Have a minimum of 5 years experience working in Radio Frequency Planning and Optimisation for LTE/UMS
Have previous experience in Radio Network Design, Planning and Optimisation for LTE and UMTS networks
Have previous experience in End-User/Customer problem handling and investigation
Be a result orientated individual with a focus on delivering on quality and customer satisfaction
Be a team player within a local and international team
Have proficient knowledge of mobile communication and understand the principles of UMTS/LTE technologies, signalling flow and protocols, antenna and radio transmission etc.
Possess excellent communication skills
