As a Quality Pharmacist at Slade Health's state-of-the-art compounding facility in Auckland, you'll play a vital role in ensuring life-saving medications meet the highest quality standards before reaching patients.Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, you'll work alongside the Operations team to support the release of oncology, LAF, and antibiotic products, while helping drive continuous improvement across our processes.
This is a full-time role (80 hours per fortnight) that offers structured training, career development, and the chance to make a tangible impact in cancer care.Whether you're a seasoned professional or a newly registered pharmacist, this is your opportunity to transition into the world of Quality, backed by a supportive team that's as committed to excellence as you are.Key responsibilities:Releasing all finished products (including oncology, antibiotics & LAF)Ensure all products are compounded appropriately according to product specifications and documentation in order to obtain the required quality.Ensure all quality management systems and procedures are adhered toParticipate in preparation of new Quality Documents and revision/update of existing documents.Review and approvals of all Quality documentsIntroducing First time receipt of stock and approvalsEnsure all product non-conformances are evaluated and rejected and/or escalated to quality management in a timely mannerEnsure all incidents, deviations and complaints are reported appropriately and Investigate, document in the QMS in a timely fashionInvolvement with Clinical trialsOther Quality tasks as neededDoes this sound like you?Relevant Tertiary qualification in PharmacyCurrent registration as Pharmacist in New ZealandHospital or oncology experience is not required as training will be providedTeam orientated attitude, a focus on delivering exceptional service and care to patientsHigh attention to detail and a passion for building on your clinical skills and knowledgeStrong problem solving and decision-making skillsAbility to manage your own workload with good communication skills to effectively liaise with a wide range of health professionalsHospital or oncology experience is not required as training is provided.If now is the time to make a positive career move, APPLY NOW!
