We are looking for a Quality Inspector on a casual part time basis - you will have 2 weeks notice on when you would be working and at this stage you would work 30-60 hours a month (once or twice a week - for 2-6 hours at a time) Though there is some flexibility on the hours of work you would most likely be required to work the mornings so we do need someone who is flexible to work some weekdays during the mornings. This would suit someone who can organise there own studies around these hours / someone free in the mornings.
KEY Responsibilities
Quality Control inspection of parts
Completion of associated QC inspection records.
Filing and retention of Certificates of Conformity
Data entry into the ERP system on completion of QC inspections.
Outgoing QC inspections of products prior to shipment.
Any other tasks that may reasonably be required from time to time.
Accountabilities
Ensure that IQC and OQC inspections are carried out in a timely manner.
Ensure that accurate records of inspection are maintained.
Ensure that the ERP system is updated as required.
Reporting
Maintain the following minimum reporting requirements:
Detailed and accurate inspection reports compliant with Phitek’s QMS and ISO/Aviation standards
As requested by Director of Quality
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Skills
Ability to use callipers and other measuring instruments.
Ability to work within and co-ordinate with a multidisciplinary team.
Very high attention to detail and ability to maintain error-free and accurate records.
Ability to balance time constraints with attention to detail.
Experience
Experience of using MS Word and Excel.
Experience a similar position or of QA in an Aerospace or medical environment or electronics would be advantageous.
Personal Attributes
Good level of written and spoken English.
Strongly outcome focused.
High level of motivation, drive, and enthusiasm.
