The main objective of this position is to support quality improvement within the orthopaedic service by overseeing the accurate collection, validation and analysis of patient outcome data, including extraction of relevant health data for international audit and benchmarking.
The Quality Data Analyst role is integral to the success of quality improvement within the Paediatric Orthopaedic Service. Reporting to the Service Clinical Director and the Operations Manager, you will need to be proficient in SQL, have Health related qualification or experience. Your experience in clinical costing or activity-based costing would be beneficial.
The role will also promote a culture that values and promotes the use of information to inform decisions, support performance and monitor the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.

This Auckland City Hospital based permanent position works 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.
