Quality Assurance Manager

Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee a 200MW solar farm project in Waikato.
This role is crucial in ensuring quality compliance, implementing robust management systems, and driving project success.About the Role:As the Quality Manager, you will take ownership of quality assurance across all project phases.
You'll work closely with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to maintain the highest industry standards while ensuring smooth project delivery.
Other responsibilities include:Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management System for the projectConduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standardsOversee testing procedures for solar panels, inverters, and system componentsMaintain detailed records and provide regular reports on key quality metricsCollaborate with stakeholders to uphold quality expectations and mitigate risksWhat We're Looking For:5+ years of solar experience or experience on a 50MW+ project is essential!Proven background in quality management within the solar industry (modular installation, tracker systems, and alignment expertise beneficial)Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulationsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsQuality management certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001) are a plusThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of New Zealand's fastest-growing renewable energy sectors.
