Short Intro and About the Job As a Quality Assurance Coordinator,you will join our QA team of 4 reporting to the Quality Assurance in-Process Manager – part of the wider Quality and Food Safety team, located at our Balclutha production facility.This is a permanent full-time opportunity working 4days on and 4days off from 6am to 6pm no night shift for now, with the main purpose of maintaining an effective Quality Assurance programme based on PRPs & HACCP principles to ensure the required quality and food safety of our finished products. Drive effective Incident Management - carry out investigation & risk assessment on RM / PM / FG with effective RCA & CAPA, in consultation with QA Manager, Plant Manager, QFS ManagerManage in-process inspection of processes, procedures, premises, people, and product / materialsEnsure plant compliance to GMP, HACCP & regulatory standardsDrive effective environmental pathogen managementBe accountable for the management of PRP's, such as pest control and intrusive maintenanceQuality and Food Safety champion and support culture of quality program in the plant About You You must have a tertiary qualification in Food Science or equivalent. You have a passion for Quality, work well in a fast-paced environment and have a pragmatic approach to Quality Assurance.To be successful you will have:Solid hands-on experience in a Quality Assurance role in the food manufacturing industryStrong working knowledge of GMP/GHP, HACCP, food handling or pathogen trainingCompetent level in MS Excel and ability to learn new tools/, exposure to Power BI is highly desirableThe drive and resilience needed to effectively collaborate with operational teams to achieve quality of products on the shopfloo About Us, We offer and What's next Do things your way.
