Quality Assurance Contractor

Publons has been steadily growing since our debut in 2014. Acquired in 2017 by Clarivate Analytics we are now on the verge of scaling up by another order of magnitude.

In order to keep delivering a quality product at our current pace we need someone to take responsibility for QA in a way that integrates with our existing practices of agile and continuous deployment.

You will report to our User Experience Manager and Chief Technology Officer and be responsible for:
- Working with Product and Development teams to improve requirement writing, development, and deployment processes.
- Documenting those processes, owning a living document of Publons’ development practice.
- Testing releases against requirements and acceptance criteria to guarantee their quality.
- Monitoring uptake and performance of shipped features in the wild.

The position is a fixed term contract of three months after which we will reappraise our needs. There is the possibility of a full time ongoing position once this fixed term is over.

It'd be great if you had 2+ years of quality assurance experience in agile teams. Python & web services experience are desirable.
