Qualified Teacher - Toddlers (Mount Roskill)

BestStart Stoddard Road is a unique culturally diverse centre located in Mt Roskill, Central Auckland. We offer education and care for up to 98 children aged 3 months to 5 years and through to their transition to school. Our centre is made up of 4 separate age appropriate rooms with two Head Teachers overseeing the programme.
An exciting opportunity has come about to work in our lovely toddlers teaching team at BestStart Stoddard Road on a full time permanent basis. Our centre has a diverse and wonderful multicultural community. Therefore it is important for the suitable candidate to enjoy working with children and families who often have English as a second language.
Our Teacher should be ECE qualified and registered (provisional or full) with a strong commitment to delivering quality teaching and learning outcomes for children. This role will be in our lively preschool room so we are looking for someone who has effective positive guidance skills and is passionate about building children's social competence.
A sound knowledge of Te Whaariki is essential for this role as we are a team who is passionate about supporting and extending children's learning through play.
