What will I be doing?
This is where you come in! Whanau are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be playing a key role in building relationships with our children and families here at BestStart Blenheim Central!

BestStart Blenheim Central is a place where Turangawaewae is our foundation for supporting children to be confident and competent explorers. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with our whanau and community, and everyone having a place within our environment. We have 2 beautiful villas with a large outdoor space where we value tuakana/teina relationships. With a strong, fun team we are looking for someone who is creative, outgoing and ready for a new, exciting opportunity.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week in the 2-5 year old classroom.

Role requirements:
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current teacher registration/certification
Demonstrate a strong understanding of programme planning, pedagogy and curriculum
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
