WHAT TO EXPECT AS AN EDUCATOR:
Reporting to the Coordinator the essential purpose of this role is to assist and support the Coordinator in the delivery of the best in market Outside School Hours Care, promoting service excellence while supporting growth and maximising value. This will be achieved by providing an inclusive and fun environment in which children are safe, engaged and well supervised and by contributing to program planning and development through reflections and child observations.
The Educator may be asked to assume the responsibility for the supervision of staff, children and OSHC service in the absence of the Coordinator and the Assistant Coordinator.
The successful applicant must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week across the following times:
Monday - Friday; 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
The above hours will be workable across school terms, however, the total weekly hours are also guaranteed across School Holiday periods.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The program caters for St Peter's Inglewood Primary students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and is located in the suburb of Inglewood, approximately 10 kilometres north-east of Perth CBD. We pride ourselves in providing children with a fun and enjoyable experience. From exciting activities and healthy, nutritious snacks to caring, motivated staff, the program meets all our children’s needs within a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will meet the following criteria:
Valid rights to work in Australia,
Hold a current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC),
Most importantly, a motivation to work with school-aged children and participate in fun and engaging ‘learn through play’ activities.
You will also hold a completed qualification from the below list of ACECQA approved qualifications for educators working with over preschool-age children:
Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care
Certificate lV in Education Support
Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care)
Diploma of School Age Education and Care
Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioural science or nursing
