Bakery Assistant

We are looking to complement our already efficient and effective Bakery team. We are expecting “expertise” in A new Baker’s Assistant, who has had experience and an understanding of “behind the scenes” of a busy bakery. The successful applicant must be able to efficiently weigh ingrediants, and cake batters, and have an incrediable eye for detail, when finishing baked cakes and slices. In addition a genuine passion about working in a full sctrach Bakery.
A high personal presentation standard is needed, a high degree of self motivation and excellent numeracy and communication skills. The successful applicant will also need the ability to use their initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position. Reporting to the Bakery Manager you will be responsible for helping to ensure the department runs smoothly and all appropriate targets are met.
We are looking for candidates who have/are:
• Experience in a Bakery
• Motivated and committed to learning and working as a team
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to start at 6am on any given day of the week (pending on the roster)
Applicants must be entitled to legally reside and work fulltime in NZ.
