Details of the offer

We are looking for an experienced QSE professional to support the Vestas Construction team with development and implementation for Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) matters, providing advice, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with QSE policies and procedures, and disseminating QSE information. You will providing effective support to site Construction Manager and construction team members ensuring QSE system and documents are maintained and up-to-date.Responsibilties
Support the QSE Lead Professional and QSE Manager with the implementation and rollout of National QSE improvements and initiatives
Participate in site Pre-start, toolbox, safety and QSE Committee meetings and inspections of plant, equipment and tools.
Assist in managing performance of subcontractors using Meercat or other systems
Participate in external and internal audits
Review all JSEA’s, work instructions (SWMS) and provide required QSE reports
Assist coordination of QSE training for all site-based personnel
Assist with Developing and implementing Vestas JSEA’s, work instructions (SWMS)
Conduct Safety Checks and Inspections on site
Ensure all Vestas required QSE documentation are completed, obligations met and implemented
Maintain a professional relationship with onsite client’s QSE advisor and/or Health & Safety Representatives
Assist in ensuring all work carried out complies with Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment requirements at all times and in accordance with Vestas policies objectives and targets
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years QSE/OHS/WHS experience including involvement in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g. part of a committee, OH&S representative)
Wind industry experience preferred but not mandatory
Previous experience working within civil/electrical, construction or similar environment

Competencies
Previous experience as a QSE/HSE Coordinator role preferably within the Building and Construction industry
Good knowledge of OHS and Environment Legislation
Understanding and implementation of QSE management systems and certification process
Understanding of software programs that support QSE i.e. SAP, MS office, CR 360, iAuditor etc preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills, within professional service provider environment
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A strong commitment to Safety, Environment and Quality at all times
Excellent time management and report writing skills
