Quality Control Technician (6-month fixed term)
Reports to:Quality Control Supervisor
Position Location:Auckland
How you'll make an impact:
You'll be part of a friendly and dynamic team that supports our customers in the development of life changing drugs and vaccines. In this role, you will be supporting the Quality Control function in performing Quality Control testing and release of company products.
What will you do?
Facilitate quality control documentation (SOP’s, Standard Forms) including writing, reviewing and issuing of documents.
Communicate effectively across departments and internal customers.
Perform QC analyses and associated tasks e.g. environmental monitoring as required.
Complete other activities that support maintaining and operating the Quality System.
Conceive and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Observe all safety rules which are established to maintain safe work practices, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct proactive hazard identification and report any accidents, incidents and near misses.
Contribute to process improvement.
Working hours are 8.00 – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

How will you get here?

Education:
Tertiary Science qualification

Experience:
Experience working in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
Knowledge of quality control laboratory methods, quality assurance methods, and regularly compliance standards including ISO9001 and general cGMP requirements.
Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheets, database applications.
