There are opportunities to work with leading New Zealand, Trans-Tasman and Global clients and interaction with leading business people.The role is responsible for contributing to the delivery of our external audit practice to clients including client relationship management and ensuring audit work is completed to the highest standards;Development and execution of project plans and deliverables for the purpose of an external audit;Effectively apply PwC frameworks, methodologies, and quality standardsChallenge issues potentially influencing the viability of new work and the potential risk effect on existing clients. Make commercially appropriate (risk/reward) recommendations in accordance with PwC’s risk management policies and procedures.Take overall responsibility to ensure task is completed efficiently, within deadlines and all available resources were considered.Interact with/co-ordinate work and efforts of external parties and/or colleagues.Assume overall responsibility for engagement economics to achieve engagement and PwC objectives.What do you need to bring to the role?A minimum of 1.5 years’ experience auditing a range of clients.Proven ability to develop approved innovative client service offerings by applying audit knowledge.Up to date knowledge of audit methodology, generally accepted practices, related regulatory or legislative standards, business processes or industry knowledge with broad- based network of internal and/or external contactsA professional mind-set and an ability to consult on issues as appropriate.Ability to critically assess and review projects.Alignment to the PwC Professional and Values.Why is PwC a great place to work?Today’s constantly changing commercial world requires us to be proactive with our professional and personal development.
