As a Purchasing Specialist, you will manage a diverse product portfolio of around 20,000 SKUs, ensuring the right products are available at the right time.
You will work closely with two other Purchasing Specialists and report directly to the General Manager of Supply Chain & Procurement.A key part of your role will be reviewing forecasts, identifying trends, and making amendments to purchasing plans to keep stock levels optimised.
A lot of data is managed and maintained on Excel so you need to be comfortable in managing large data sets on it while also having the ability to work with ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory efficiently and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams.If you have experience with Power BI and can build dashboards, that's a bonus!This is an onsite role, Monday to Friday, but there is an element of flexibility with start and finish times to help you balance work and life.About you:You're analytical, organised, and thrive on making data-driven purchasing decisions.
