We are looking for a purchasing superstar to join our close-knit team.Working Monday – Friday, this is an exciting opportunity to join either our Te Awamutu, Hautapu or Tirau Site to complete purchasing, financial and administration duties.Your Purpose:In this role, you will lead implementation of improved purchasing processes to optimise inventory and delivery of value. Working across multiple vendors, coordinating of timeframes and completing administrative work in a timely manner will be critical to this position. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work closely with procurement to ensure current contract rates terms and master data are readily available.Other key responsibilities include:Inform and educate maintenance teams when correct processes and contracts are not being used, incurring additional costs, to prevent reoccurrence.
Make best use of available systems and processes to deliver maximum value of available budgets for engineering services and inventory replenishmentWhat you will bring:To be successful, you'll be a strong communicator with high attention to detail to be able to work in tandem with the procurement and inventory teams, identifying and resolving problems. You will have proven Microsoft Outlook Excel skills and the ability using purchasing systems, desirably SAP.
