Our client is a national infrastructure business that maintains water solutions in Tauranga and the Bay of Plenty.
We are looking for a person who is not afraid of hard work to join their team as a Pump Station Wet Well Cleaner. This role is full time with the potential for a permanent opportunity.
This is a physical role - you will be responsible for the cleaning of pump station water wells, moving hoses, using water blasters. If you do not like heights this may not be the role for you.
You will be involved in a waste water environment.
Full training will be provided and then it is expected the successful candidate will work independently.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning of pump station water wells - a lot of manual handling and lugging hoses around all day
Operating a water hose and scraping equipment, at times carrying it a short distance to site
Driving to various sites - full Class 1 is mandatory

Hours are Monday to Friday 7am -4.30pm
The successful candidate will have the following:
Excellent work ethic - you need to be determined to learn and succeed
Be a self starter and be able to work independently with confidence
Full class 1 licence
Fit and strong
If you have a 3 water water background that would be an advantage.
Provide 2 recent references
All candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screen, Ministry of Justice and ACC pre-employment checks.
