What will you be doing /Nga whainga
You will lead the development and implementation of the public relations and content strategy and associated initiatives for the Domestic New Zealand market in ways consistent with Tourism New Zealand's Four-Year Marketing Strategy and the Domestic market plan.
Your key focus will be on achieving major PR coverage through broadcast, online projects, influencers, partnerships and other bold and innovative media projects while proactively seeking integration synergies across Paid, Owned, Earned and Trade initiatives.
Utilising your superb communication skills; you will manage a wide variety of stakeholders while fostering positive relationships with local media, industry representatives and travel trade. You will identify media risks and secure relevant high impact opportunities that promote domestic travel and experiences.

Bring your passion for New Zealand. We need someone with a minimum of 7 years' experience in a PR communications role where you have been responsible for the strategy and the delivery of complex multidisciplinary and integrated projects. It goes without saying that you will have excellent writing skills, have a strong network of media and influencer contacts, and experienced liaising directly with media, bloggers and instagrammers as well as traditional offline media expertise.
You will have managed large-scale content projects, have well developed project management skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to think creatively about marketing and PR issues.
Maori culture is an integral part of both New Zealand and Tourism New Zealand, therefore an appreciation and strong commitment to cultural diversity and Te Ao Maori is essential.
